BCThubs presentation during EMRA 2023 @ Sibenik, Croatia

BCThubs was presented at EMRA 2023, a workshop on EU-funded marine robotics and applications. The workshop took place in Sibenik, Croatia during 20-21/June/2023, organized by University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. Τhe workshop brought together a diverse range of speakers, from ongoing H2020/HEU projects (incl. new WIDERA projects), industry, end users and stakeholders, providing an excellent opportunity for networking and cross-fertilisation of ideas in marine robotics, enabling technologies and applications. Part of the workshop was also a roundtable discussion moderated by EC DG RTD, where BCThubs provided feedback on certain aspect of the Widening funding programme (e.g. sustainability, policy, KPIs, synergies).

During a dedicated session,  ATLANTIS Consulting presented the basic project details and main objectives, an overall description of the project consortium, the main challenges behind the project idea and the way to address them, the project’s vision and the main activities for building the BCT Ecosystem. Moreover, ATLANTIS carried out bilateral discussions with stakeholders that showed interest in the project and its results, while project’s flyer and poster card were distributed to the participants. Finally, since the workshop was organized under EU projects MONUSEN, UWIN-LABUST, MARBLE, INNOVAMARE and SeaTecHub, ATLANTIS investigated the opportunities to establish synergies with these projects (i.e. SeaTecHub).
