BCThubs was presented by members of the Bulgarian Excellence Hub (Aqua Prom, CUA, IICT) at the International Conference “NDT Days 2024,” held on June 10-14, 2024, in Sozopol, Bulgaria. This conference focused on all methods and techniques of non-destructive and destructive testing, material and construction evaluation, and non-destructive testing in all fields of technical activities. It was a unique opportunity for all interested parties involved in research, development, practical application, and standardization to meet.
Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the BCThubs project and its activities, funded under the Horizon Europe program, through a special booth and a round table organized by the Bulgarian Excellence Hub. We are delighted that more than 100 participants registered and attended the conference.
The BCThubs project was presented during two sessions:
“Geophysical and Remote Sensing Techniques in Marine Archaeological Research: The Experience of the Bulgarian Centre for Underwater Archaeology” by Velkovsky K. and N. Prahov.
“Blue Culture Technology Excellence Hubs in the Widening EU Member States (BCThubs project),” featuring an in-depth round table discussion.
Participation in the International Conference “NDT Days 2024” significantly enhanced the impact of the BCThubs project by increasing its visibility to a diverse audience of professionals and stakeholders. The event provided valuable networking opportunities, strengthening potential collaborations among EU member states and facilitating the exchange of ideas and best practices. Additionally, it contributed to raising awareness and understanding of the project, thereby attracting further support.
