As part of the Bulgarian BCTHub initiatives, we are delighted to announce the three-day Idea Workshop “Designing Contemporary Museum Exhibitions for Underwater Cultural Heritage”, organized by the Balkan Heritage Foundation.
The workshop will take place from 13–15 November 2025 at the National Archaeological Reserve Deultum – Debelt, Bulgaria, offering a unique opportunity for professionals and students to explore innovative approaches to presenting and preserving Underwater Cultural Heritage (UCH).
About the Workshop
This program combines lectures, hands-on sessions, and collaborative group activities, helping participants develop creative, engaging, and sustainable exhibition concepts for underwater heritage.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn from Dr. Vesela Gercheva, experts from the Center for Underwater Archaeology, as well as partners from the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies and the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage (SCH), Malta.
