6th BCThubs Plenary Meeting in Sofia

The 6th Plenary Meeting took place on 17–18 November 2025 at the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (IICT) in Sofia, Bulgaria. The meeting marked an important milestone for the project, bringing together consortium partners to review progress to date and collectively shape the next steps. Held in a hybrid format, it ensured broad participation and engagement from all Hubs, both onsite and online.

Over the two-day meeting, partners presented the scientific and technological advancements achieved so far, showcasing key results and ongoing work. Discussions were constructive and forward-looking, offering an opportunity to exchange ideas, address challenges, and refine the roadmap for the upcoming phases of the project.

As part of the meeting program, participants enjoyed an engaging visit and networking session at the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (NAIM-BAS). On the second day, the consortium had the opportunity to tour the IICT laboratories, gaining insight into the research environment and ongoing technological developments.

A particularly exciting moment was the User Acceptance Test of the VR solution by the 3DR, offering partners first-hand experience of the project’s virtual reality developments.

The consortium left Sofia with strengthened collaboration, shared purpose, and fresh inspiration to continue advancing the project’s mission in the months ahead.
