On Saturday 30th of March 2024, the Greek Excellence Hub of the BCThubs project organized a Stakeholders’ Workshop entitled “The Emergence of the Greek Underwater Cultural Heritage Ecosystem”. The main aim of the workshop was the meeting of the members of the Greek Ecosystem in order to exchange their opinions and ideas about underwater technologies, which can offer to the sector.
The workshop took place in the premises of the Hellenic Maritime Museum, in Piraeus and it was open to all the members of the ecosystem of Underwater Cultural Heritage (UCH) in Greece to participate. During the workshop, very interesting presentations were made by the Project partners and the members of the Greek Ecosystem in the field of research, preservation and promotion of Underwater Cultural Heritage.
The exchange of views between the participants and the Greek partners of BCTHubs successfully build the basis for dialogue and interaction of the involved bodies of the Greek Ecosystem, while during the coffee breaks and after the presentations, very interesting discussions were made about the future activities of the UCH Greek Ecosystem for the promotion and protection of Underwater Cultural Heritage in Greece.
