BCThubs Presentation at the HER-SEA Project’s Conference held at the Acropolis Museum

BCThubs received significant recognition at the Final Conference of HER-SEA project, held at the Acropolis Museum, Athens, Greece on August 26th, 2024. The event, titled “Culture, Underwater Archaeology and Territorial Cohesion: Strengthening Soft Power Factors” was organized with the participation of prominent institutions such as the European MSP Platform, the Institute of A. Papanastasiou, and the Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy.

BCThubs and the Region of Thessaly: As part of BCThubs dissemination activities, the Region of Thessaly actively contributed to the event. Mrs. Angeliki Veneti, Head of the Industry, Energy & Natural Resources Division at the Region of Thessaly, participated in the second roundtable discussion on “Cultural Values, Interoperability, and Marine Planning”, during which she presented BCThubs. Her presentation focused on BCThubs’ capacity to promote research and innovation (R&I) in Blue Culture Technologies, through the development of a stable and permanent technological and business infrastructures (Excellence Hubs). Mrs. Veneti also highlighted the strong synergy established between BCThubs and the HER-SEA project, which further reinforces collaboration across various initiatives on common fields.

The event featured speeches from keynote speakers, including the Deputy Minister of Shipping and Island Policy, Mr. Stefanos Gikas, and the General Secretary of Spatial Planning and Urban Environment, Mr. Efthymios Bakogiannis.
