MentorCult :Entrepreneurial Mentoring Programme & Bootcamp

We are thrilled to announce the launch of MentorCult, a pivotal initiative under the BCThubs project, part of Task 5.2 which is dedicated to Mentoring for Business Development and the Organization of Entrepreneurial Bootcamps. Each of the three hubs will host an Entrepreneurial Bootcamp. These bootcamps, supported by RoT with assistance from UoT for the Greek Hub, SCH for the Maltese Hub, and CUA for the Bulgarian Hub, will be hybrid events to facilitate both physical and online participation. Participants in these bootcamps will have the unique opportunity to work directly with consortium experts to refine and enhance their business ideas.

MentorCult is the 1st programme and organized by the Greek Blue Culture Technology (BCT) Excellence Hub and aims to foster a robust entrepreneurial spirit within the BCT ecosystem. MentorCult is an entrepreneurial mentoring programme by the Greek BCT Excellence Hub, focusing on mentoring innovative ideas in Blue Culture Technologies (BCT), especially those enhancing Underwater Cultural Heritage through research, promotion, conservation, protection, and accessibility.

Participants in the MentorCult program will gain numerous benefits, starting with training and business development sessions that will enhance their entrepreneurial skills and allow them to test their business models. The program offers B2B mentoring, connecting participants with industry experts for invaluable insights and guidance. Additionally, it provides networking opportunities, enabling participants to meet with investors, entrepreneurs, and key industry players. Those who complete the program will receive an official certification, recognizing their achievements and newly acquired skills.

The MentorCult journey begins with a kick-off event filled with expert insights, setting the stage for four weeks of in-depth mentoring, including dedicated B2B sessions. A dry-run session will allow participants to refine their pitches based on feedback from experts. The program culminates in a two-day bootcamp, accommodating both in-person and virtual participation. The first day focuses on the final preparation of participants’ business ideas, while the second day allows them to present these ideas to a live audience. Participation in the program is completely free, and all sessions will be conducted in English.

The application deadline is set for April 17, 2025, and the program will conclude with awards for the best teams, celebrating their entrepreneurial spirit and innovative concepts.
