BCThubs at the TECTONIC Seminar

he BCThubs was presented during the TECTONIC Seminar held on 27 May 2025 at the premises of Atlantis Consulting in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Organized in the framework of the TECTONIC project, the seminar focused on sustainable blue growth and the convergence of research, technology, and cultural heritage. Mrs Anastasia Fourkiotou presented the vision and objectives of the BCThubs initiative, which aims to establish Blue Culture Technology (BCT) Excellence Hubs in Greece, Bulgaria, and Malta, fostering regional collaboration and innovation in the field.

The TECTONIC project is implemented under the H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions & Support to Experts programme, specifically within the thematic area “Research and Innovation Staff Exchange”. Its overarching objective is the exchange of skills and knowledge, as well as the implementation of training actions for the development, enhancement, and evaluation of innovative materials, techniques, tools, and methodologies. These efforts aim to support the creation of practical solutions and commercially viable products for the conservation, restoration, and management of Underwater Cultural Heritage.
