Secondments among Hubs

The BCThubs Project launched the Secondments and Good Practices Exchange initiative this April 2025 with the implementation of the first secondments, which brought together members of the Hubs, providing valuable opportunity for cross-sector collaboration.

This first Secondment activity took place from April 7th to 11th, 2025 at the premises of Atlantis Consulting S.A. in Thessaloniki, Greece. The secondees were: Nayden Prahov from The Centre for Underwater Archaeology (CUA) -Bulgarian Hub and Simon Caruana from the Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) -Malta Hub, while other partners had the opportunity to join the sessions online. Mr. Angelos Manglis led the training sessions equipping the secondees with practical knowledge and a hands-on framework to implement entrepreneurial initiatives within the Hubs.

The Secondment activity aims to foster the exchange of expertise and good practices between academic, business, and NGO stakeholders of each Blue Culture Technology Hub, gaining experience in a new working environment and promoting mutual learning. The Secondment in ATL marked the beginning of this knowledge-sharing program.

The Secondments represent a crucial pillar in advancing BCThubs’ mission to integrate Blue Culture and Technology through collaboration, innovation, and inclusive capacity building across Europe.
